The Advanti leadership team consists of:
Douglas A. Eisenstein - Managing Director, Founder
Douglas Eisenstein founded Advanti in 2003 and serves as its Managing Director.
Mr. Eisenstein recognized a
gap in the financial technology consulting industry, established a clear
vision with 10 guiding
principles, procured a
board of advisors, set the course through his
mission, and developed an executable corporate strategy to achieve it.
Today, Mr. Eisenstein is responsible for the firm's corporate strategy, business development, sales, marketing, client services, and oversight of its
consulting practices. Under Mr. Eisenstein's leadership, Advanti grew by word of mouth from 1 to 12 top-tier
clients, turned a profit, and established itself into a multimillion-dollar consultancy in under 1 year.
Throughout Mr. Eisenstein's 13 years of consulting, he strategically diversified his experience by holding leadership positions in: infrastructure, operations, data management, software, enterprise architecture, and strategy development. As the demand for Mr. Eisenstein's skills increased he was presented with high-stake offers at leading financial institutions. This led to two crucial observations: the business model would work, and he could continue to provide high-performance consulting to a much greater population. Mr. Eisenstein is well respected by his peers for his spot-on accomplishments and his unswerving commitment to client success.
An entrepreneur since the age of 17, Mr. Eisenstein was
recognized as an innovator
by the Ridgefield Press in Connecticut. In 2008 he was awarded for his accomplishments in
WBJ's 40 under 40.
Mr. Eisenstein studied at Suffolk University in their Computer Engineering program.
Outside of Advanti, Mr. Eisenstein enjoys jogging, golfing, writing, entertaining, and most importantly spending time with his lively family.
Ian C. Winston- Vice President, Infrastructure Consulting
Ian joined Advanti Solutions in 2008 as its Vice President of Infrastructure.
Ian's primary responsibility is to scope, architect, and deliver performant, highly available infrastructure solutions to clients in the financial marketplace.
Since joining Advanti, Ian has managed a variety of projects that encompass all levels if IT infrastructure, including a multimillion-dollar data center build out, a physical data center move, a data center automation software implementation, disaster recovery/business continuity replication solutions, and virtual infrastructure design.
Alongside the technical aspects of the projects, Ian evaluates the communication capability between peers, groups, and IT options to identify ways to improve the flow of information. The alignment of the business community and the IT department is critical to the ability of both parties to meet all business goals.
To ensure success, Ian draws from his background at various software companies and a top-tier hosting company. Ian has worked in business systems departments architecting redundant, highly available, performant three-tier applications that include SAN implementations, disaster recovery solutions, and performance monitoring. He also has experience in information technology industries such as software, hosting, database architecture, data center management, and finance. All of these experiences required strong communication, relationship building, and technical knowhow to ensure success.
In his free time, Ian enjoys tennis, golf, guitar, rebuilding old Land Cruisers, and spending time with his wife and two children.
Dana Faughnan - Controller
Dana Faughnan joined Advanti in 2008 and serves as its Controller.
Ms. Faughnan is recognized as a young entrepreneur having built and run a highly successful bookkeeping business for prestigious clients throughout the Boston area.
Ms. Faughnan is responsible for accounting, forecasting cash flows, fiscal reporting, regulatory compliance, and implementation of internal controls. Her vision is to ensure a sound financial balance sheet by implementing industry proven best practices thus ensuring that Advanti’s internal financial composition matches the supreme quality of its external products and services.
Ms. Faughnan grew up in New York and Martha’s Vineyard and graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in English. She enjoys swimming, Sudoku and solving the mystery before reaching the end of the book.
